Government Polytechnic Doyang Wokha Freshers’ Day
On August 6, 2024, Government Polytechnic Doyang in Wokha hosted the inaugural freshers’ day for the third Batch of Architecture Assistantship students. The event featured both formal and informal segments. During the formal proceedings, Ar. Visanino Kenna-o led a prayer for the newcomers, followed by an exhortation from the principal, Er. V. Julia Achumi, concluding the program with light refreshments.
The Hosts for the Informal program were Jokholu (5th semester) and Chenonle (3rd semester). An introductory session for new students was conducted, alongside a competition to crown Mr. and Mrs. Freshers. Additionally, a fashion show featuring students from the 3rd and 5th semesters took place. The competition panel included Miss Abigail Rengma and Miss I. Tainjungla Ozukum.
