Government Polytechnic Doyang, Wokha (GPDW) was inaugurated on Friday. Established in March 2021 under the aegis of Higher and Technical Education department and affiliated to SCTE, the Institute was inaugurated on May 27 jointly by the Minister for Higher Education and Tribal Affairs, Temjen Imna Along, and Advisor of Technical Education and Election Medo Yhokha, in the presence of Advisor for Border Affairs and Horticulture Mhathung Yanthan and other officials.

“Government Polytechnic Doyang Wokha Fusion Winter Fest 2024” was conducted on February 15th & 16th. The students along with teaching faculty were divided into two equal groups i.e., Falcon & Mahseers (Annexure-I.). Day 1 commenced with several events such as photography and flag design judged by the principal and other colourful competitions such as face painting, fashion design and Quiz competition with different themes as seen in Annexure-II.
