“One Earth, One Family, One Future”
Government Polytechnic Doyang, Wokha organized a painting competition scheduled as per AICTE’s directive on account of India’s G20 Presidency on the theme “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” or “One Earth, One Family, One Future” closely tied with LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment) on 10th Feb 2023, at 10:00 AM. The event was conducted in the Drawing Hall. Er. Kekhriesituo Sachu chaired the programme and highlighted the significance of the event being conducted.
All the students participated in the competition and showcased their creativity and skills. The competition was judged by Er. Vivi Kiso, Ar. Kekhrieneizo Tetso and Miss Mengunuo Kere. The students were judged based on the criteria of creativity, technique, composition, interpretation and overall impact. Mr. Supongsangba Longchar, student of first year, emerged as the winner. The winner was awarded a prize and the opportunity to display his artwork in the Institute’s gallery.
The competition ended with a word of encouragement and compliment from the judges. A brief photo session followed. It was a pleasure to witness and explore the immense talent and artistic interpretation of each participant.
